Summary

Dr. Michael A. Perelman is a Clinical Professor Emeritus of Psychiatry at Weill Cornell Medicine | New York-Presbyterian Hospital and the Co-Director of the Human Sexuality Program at the Payne Whitney Clinic. He also served as a Clinical Professor of Reproductive Medicine and Urology at the New York Weill Medical College of Cornell University.In 2011, he founded the MAP Education &amp; Research Foundation, a 501(c)(3) public charity dedicated to educating healthcare providers about the importance of maintaining a biomedical, psychosocial, and cultural approach to the diagnosis and treatment of sexual disorders. In 2012, Dr. Perelman donated the registered trademark of his Sexual Tipping Point® Model to the Foundation, ensuring that it would be made available free of charge to healthcare professionals worldwide.
